We Design Websites.
Websites should do stuff like help people understand your company's brand (your promise, and what makes you different). If you haven't really thought about your brand from your customer's perspective, we'd love to help you with that. It's what we're good at.Websites should also be findable by people who get really excited about what you do. Even if that's a small group, they can turn out to be some of your most valuable "employees".
We're Small (But Big).
Method Arts is an “open source”? creative consortium. We like think of it as an “un-company”? - a virtual studio, consisting of 4 directors and any number of contributing creatives, designers and programmers. We are no bigger than we need to be, have no more overhead than we need to have and we believe in design, usability and good will.
Our Founders.
Brian Warren
Brian's one of those guys who grew up always drawing. In those personality surveys, they always told him he should be some sort of artist. His passion for art and design only grew throughout the years. It’s grown to include web design, marketing and even some programming.
Mark Bixby
Mark Bixby has been designing for marketing communications since 1994. He's created illustration, graphic design, animation and interactive media for companies in retail, commercial and high tech industries - plus he's a pretty nice guy.
Contributors.
Vincent Thome
Vincent is a mastermind. A big-picture thinker who typically assesses his client's core strengths, differentiators, archetypes and challenges; develops an objective strategy and then assembles a special ops taskforce to get ‘the job’ done.
Daniel Lyons
Daniel Lyons programs in his sleep. A lover of Lisp, rejoicer of Ruby, and handler of Haskell, he enjoys learning new languages in his spare time and has never met a database schema he has actually liked. Nowadays, Daniel is a one-stop programming gun-for-hire with a taste for the elegant and a predilection for Rails.
Lance Sanchez
Lance is a developer/support agent for a local ISP. When not beating Apache into submission or building Linux servers, he enjoys rewriting applications in Rails—because he can. And don’t get him started about acts_as_tree and recursive partials.
Reid Givens
Reid Givens was a designer before he even knew design was a profession by creating press kits and gig flyers for local bands. Reid is now a marketing communications specialist and organizational strategist with a love for anything required to do both well, specifically, the web.
Josh Sallach
Joshua Sallach has worked in various positions on film crews for major motion pictures as well as producing his own independant shorts, commercials and feature-length films through Narrow Road Productions. Joshua has earned a reputation for going above and beyond his client's expectations. Going beyond film, he puts his degree in computer science to good use, both creating in-house programs with the latest technologies and creating and maintaining websites.
JOIN THE CIRCUS
We love meeting other top talent in our industry. We also really enjoy collaborating; being part of a group that makes something worth while. If you like these things too, you should sign up to become a member of Method Arts. Join Now!
